Add this DIY Bunny Banner to your homes Spring and Easter decorations. Easy instructions and printable template to help you create your own!
I was on the hunt for some cute Easter decorations for my home and entryway. I saw this adorable bunny banner kit at Marshalls. This would be a nice and easy decoration to make for Easter.
After reading the price tag I decided that I could make it myself for less at home using supplies I already have in my crafting cupboard! Bunnies with pom-pom tales are so cute.
First I would need to replicate the bunny. I used Microsoft Publisher and Paint to make my bunny template. This process took me about two hours. Way longer than anticipated but the result turned out well 🙂
I made two bunny templates. One has a pink bunny outline and the other is a grey bunny outline. There are several ways you can use this template. You could print both colors and mix and match or just print one color. I also thought you could print them, cut them out and use the reverse side so the bunny would be all white. Be creative when making this banner and invite the kids to join you!

Here are the supplies you will need to make this bunny banner:
- Bunny Banner Template printable in color(s) of your choice
- Scissors
- Small hole puncher
- Craft glue or hot glue gun
- Twine, string or yarn cut to about 48 inches (4 feet)
- Pom-poms
How To Assemble The Bunny Banner:
Cut out your bunnies and add a hole punch to the inside of each ear. I chose to cut out a grey and pink bunny template. This gave me six bunnies total for my banner. You could add as many bunnies to your banner as you would like. Just remember to make your string length longer to accommodate all your bunnies. 😉
Use your craft glue to adhere the pom-pom tails. I found these bright and cheerful pom-poms at Micheal’s craft store.
Last add the string to your bunnies. You’ve just made a simple and cute bunny banner! Hang it across a mantle or along an entryway mirror. This bunny banner will add a pop of color to your Easter decor!
Neutral DIY Bunny Banner
Since creating the colorful Bunny Banner, my own personal home decor has changed to a more neutral farmhouse style.
I decided to make a new Bunny Banner using white DIY yarn pom poms.
I flipped the cute bunny template to the back side and added the tails using a hot glue gun.
Using the hot glue gun made for a quick dry time.
This is just another creative way to easily add Easter decor to your home. You pick which Bunny Banner is your favorite!
