As a Mom like me, do you ever feel overwhelmed by all the “to do’s” on your list each day?
We have many jobs each day. We’re gourmet chef, house cleaner, laundry manager, boo-boo kisser, taxi driver, life lesson teacher and pro hugger. Not to mention a wife, mother, daughter and friend.
This is a life we chose, a life we love but sometimes it feels overwhelming.
Trying to keep up with the house, prepare delicious meals, be an awesome wife and mother can become exhausting.
Soon our joy runs out and we are just going through the motions of everyday living.
Hey, I’m Amanda, a Jesus loving, coffee drinking wife and mamma to four kiddos.
I blog at Miss Sue Living where my mission is to work with busy Moms who struggle with managing their homes and instead I help them to create streamlined routines that are actionable, easy and tailored to their families lifestyle, resulting in less stress and more time to do the things that bring them joy!
Let’s learn together how to get the necessary home making tasks done more efficiently so that we can have more time to spend with our family and friends.
In this community you will find :
- home management routines
- daily living tips
- meal plans
- printables

- personal stories and more
By learning how to manage our homes well we can remove overwhelm and bring back the joy in everyday living.
One of the fastest ways to remove daily stress is to create a meal plan. Go read this article How to Easily Create a Weekly Menu Plan and get set-up.
Fun Tidbits
- Sue’s my middle name- The nick name “Miss Sue” was given to me by my high school best friend and has stuck with me till the present.
- I ran my first full marathon in January of 2016! It was a year of training and many (EARLY) hours on the open roads of Arizona. I am very grateful to my hubby, Nathan, for supporting me on this goal of mine. Marathon training is no joke! I was so happy crossing the finish line. As soon as I found my family I cried tears of joy for completing the race.
- I’m a coffee snob-It’s true! Starbucks is my #1 choice for coffee. I used to work at a Starbucks in my early 20’s and enjoyed being a barista!
My Love
I came to Arizona in 2002 for my love of Jesus and to serve Him at a church in the children’s ministry. I committed to serving for one year. Well, God had a different plan for me. I met my husband, Nathan, and now I have been a resident of Arizona for 12 years. It only took one date in Arizona and many thousands of air miles for our love story to begin. We were married in my home state of Washington in June of 2004. Now our family includes 4 children.
Little People
I enjoy being a mom to my four kiddos. They inspire me, test me, love me and most importantly help me to rely on Jesus Christ as my support for teaching, training and raising this next generation!
Homeschooling
I am currently homeschooling three kiddos. We love to take field trips and participate in a weekly co-op. It’s a challenging but fun and rewarding job to be teaching my kids.
