Going on vacation is such a fun time. You are so excited to get away from the normal every day and go experience a fun place.  But you can’t get very far with your vacation without doing some travel planning. Use a travel planner to get vacation ready!

How To Organize Your Vacation with A Travel Printable, travel planner, travel planner printable, travel printable, trip itinerary planner, vacation planner, vacation planner printable, vacation itinerary #travelplanner #travelprintable #vacationplanning #vacationplanner

Summer is here and I know many families will be planning vacation trips. Whether you are taking a plane to your destination, hitting the road or sticking close to home for a stay-cation all trips require some planning.

As I myself am preparing to go on a week-long vacation with my husband I have lots of thoughts going through my head. There seems to be a lot of information to keep track of just for 2 people. Planning a vacation cannot simply be done in your head.

Vacations are supposed to be fun and relaxing and I plan to keep our vacation stress free with a simple printable.

With the Travel Planner printable I can keep track of:

  • flights
  • dates of travel
  • destination details
  • lodging
  • car rental/transportation arrangements
  • activities/excursions
  • meals
  • daily wardrobe

Vacation Details

There are some major details that go into vacation planning. The first of which is the destination. Once you pick your destination(s) then you will select your dates of travel, lodging and transportation for your trip.

If you will be taking to the skies for your vacation the Travel Planner has a section to write in all the flight information. What airlines, flight number, departure and arrival times.

Vacation Itinerary

While you are on vacation to relax you may also have some destinations or activities in mind for your time.

Fill in your Daily Itinerary with your fun activity details. There is space to loosely plan out your days and not overbook your vacation time.

Vacation Meals

Does your vacation destination have meals included? If not you can be prepared with a meal plan for each day.

Add in any meal reservations you make. Pencil in if you will be eating the hotel breakfasts or need to pack sack lunches. Explore your vacation destinations local cuisine.

Vacation meals are one of the things I look forward to most! It’s fun to go outside your comfort zone with food while on vacation.

Vacation Wardrobe + Extra Items

Planning your outfits will be a huge space saver in your suitcase.  Once you have an idea of your vacation itinerary then you can plan daily outfits.

Prepping outfits ahead of time will save you from over packing and leave room in your suitcase to bring back some awesome souvenirs!

Packing Tips:

  • Try to mix and match tops and bottoms to make multiple outfits with fewer clothing items.
  • Pick clothing items that are least likely to wrinkle in your suitcase
  • 3 pairs of shoes max!
  • Wear or carry your jacket if you can. Don’t pack it.
  • Roll your clothing to save space.
  • Try using a packing cube to super organize your suitcase.

Also consider writing in any extra items you may need for your daily itinerary. Do you need to bring your own snacks and water? A bag for wet items or sunscreen? Think about your vacation plan for each day and write down any items you may need to through in your purse or bag for that day.

Vacation Notes

I left an empty space for notes. You may have some last minute ideas or plans to jot down for your trip. Use this space to add in any phone numbers you need to have handy.

You can also make a copy of your Travel Planner to leave with a family member for emergency purposes. They can quickly get a hold of you having your vacation schedule.

This Travel Planner will keep you organized and stress free on your vacation. I also like that it is a one page printable with all the pertinent information you need on your vacation. One simple page to keep you on track for a fabulous vacation.  Happy Travels!

It’s so simple, but they look forward to it each year.
A countdown to #valentinesday 💕

It started with post it notes and then I wanted to make it cute and easier to execute. So I came up with 14 fun prompts to help me express my love for each kiddo.

Every night leading up to Valentine’s Day I tape a heart to their bedroom door. But you could put them in a lunchbox, car or bathroom mirror!

🍎This weekend we went to one of my favorite pla 🍎This weekend we went to one of my favorite places to conclude my birthday celebrations. @apple_annies is such a fun family activity and everyone always finds their perfect pumpkin.
.
Honestly, we debated going this year as the cost of gas is higher right now. It's a 2 hour drive for us. But my hubby knows how much I enjoy going. It's my little taste of fall in the desert.
.
So we made it happen by cutting out a few things like:
▪️packing our own lunches & snacks
▪️walking instead of taking the tractor ride
▪️only buying one pumpkin each
▪️taking a family picture in the apple orchard, but not picking apples
.
Even though we didn't do "all the things" at the orchard this time we made the best memories. It's about having fun with those we love and care about, no matter how small or simple.
