Holiday Traditions Bucket List

One of my favorite pages to fill is the Holiday Traditions Bucket-List. This page is all about spending time doing activities with my family.

We spend an evening filling in what special foods we’d like to eat over the holidays and what movies to watch together. We decide what our Christmas Eve and Christmas Day will look like as a family.

These bucket list items are the first things to get put onto the calendar. Family time is super important during the holidays so we make sure to schedule those activities first, before adding in more fun things to our holiday season.

Planning Your Holiday Pictures

Cards & Thanks You’s

Do you love getting actual mailed holiday cards each year?! I have a special basket that I place on our kitchen island to hold all the cards we recive.

I also like to send a Christmas card or a New Years card to close family and friends each year. It’s always fun to see the changes in the kids from year to year in holiday photos.

Record your list of cards to using the Christmas Cards To Send page or the Holiday Cards To Send page. If you have older kids you could even task them with writing addresses on the envelopes or typing up some address labels to print.

🍎This weekend we went to one of my favorite pla 🍎This weekend we went to one of my favorite places to conclude my birthday celebrations. @apple_annies is such a fun family activity and everyone always finds their perfect pumpkin.
.
Honestly, we debated going this year as the cost of gas is higher right now. It's a 2 hour drive for us. But my hubby knows how much I enjoy going. It's my little taste of fall in the desert.
.
So we made it happen by cutting out a few things like:
▪️packing our own lunches & snacks
▪️walking instead of taking the tractor ride
▪️only buying one pumpkin each
▪️taking a family picture in the apple orchard, but not picking apples
.
Even though we didn't do "all the things" at the orchard this time we made the best memories. It's about having fun with those we love and care about, no matter how small or simple.
