Is your head swirling with thoughts of gifts, parties and holiday events? The holiday season is an anticipated time of year but it can become an overwhelming list of “to-do’s”. While most of the events of the holidays are good and fun, our calendars can fill up quickly leaving us feeling overwhelmed and exhausted.
I want to make sure this holiday season is filled with joyful moments and happy hearts (mine included 😉 ). A little planning can go a long way in keeping us focused on the real reasons we celebrate the holidays: Giving thanks and our Savior’s birth!
One of my goals at Miss Sue Living is to help you streamline everyday living so that you can reduce stress and create more room for joy. So let’s reduce the stress of this holiday season and take a little time to organize our events, meals, and gift lists.
The 2017 Holiday Planner includes:
- Stylish Cover Page
- 2017 November and December calendars
- Holiday Events Page
- Holiday Menu Plan
- Holiday Menu Shopping List
- Holiday Meal Guest List
- Gift Recipient List
- Gift Tracker with Budget in 2 styles
- Wish List
- Gifts to Bake or Make List
Stylish Cover Page- Because every planner needs to look pretty 🙂
Calendars- Start with mapping out your November and December. You won’t miss a single holiday dinner, school concert, Christmas program or family get together by filling this in. Seeing the events you have planned for the whole month will help you be prepared each week. It’s nice to have an overview of the whole month and know what days are available when you are invited to an event. No double booking happening here!
Holiday Events- Use this page to write in the specifics for each event. There is a column to put the date, time, event, and location. Write in if you need to bring a food item or gift to the event. You won’t forget a thing for each of your events using this page as reference!
Holiday Menu Plan- I’m a big believer in meal planning so of course I’m including a Holiday Menu Plan! Planning out your holiday meal will make cooking day go smoothly.
Holiday Menu Shopping List- Make your grocery shopping trip seamless by bringing your shopping list. Go through your holiday menu and write out all the ingredients you will need.
Holiday Meal Guest List- Make sure you know how many guests will be coming so you can plan the menu accordingly. Will your guest be bringing a food item? There is a column to write in what they are bringing.
Gift Recipient List- Don’t miss anyone on your gift list this holiday season. Use this page to write out all gift recipient’s names into appropriate categories (ie: family, kids, friends, neighbors)
Holiday Gift Tracker- Now that you know who you’re buying gifts for you can get more specific. Write in the gift recipient’s name, gift purchased, the cost of the gift, and if you need to wrap or mail the gift.
Wish List- Keep track of gift ideas throughout the year and be prepared for the holidays!
Gifts to Bake or Make- Need to bake some cookies for an office or school party? Want to make a special handmade gift for a friend? Write out all gifts you need to make or bake here.
