This recipe is even more spectacular with homemade taco seasoning. The taco seasoning is the key ingredient to the bold flavor of this taco dip.

Homemade Taco Seasoning
Ingredients:
¼ cup chili powder
1& ½ tsp onion powder
1 & ½ garlic powder
1 & ½ ground cumin
1 & ½ dried oregano
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp black pepper
½ tsp paprika
Directions:
Put all spices in a mini mason jar or small plastic container with lid.
Shake,shake,shake. Your homemade taco seasoning is ready for use!
Homemade Taco Seasoning
This homemade taco seasoning is full of flavor and does not use sugar. Perfect for the whole food and clean eating lifestyle.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup chili powder

Recipe Notes
Add 2 Tbsp seasoning to one pound meat and ¾ cup water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Tip: You can use this taco seasoning for flavoring taco meat too. Add 2 Tbsp seasoning to one pound meat and ¾ cup water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Now that you have your homemade taco seasoning let’s make the dip.
Game Day Taco Dip
You will need:
1 can refried beans
8 oz cream cheese softened
1 cup sour cream
2 Tbsp homemade taco seasoning (or taco seasoning of your choice)
½ cup – 1 cup cheddar cheese or Mexican blend cheese, shredded
½ cup black olives, sliced
1 medium tomato, diced
1/2 cup fresh lettuce, chopped
1 avocado, sliced
Directions:
Spread refried beans along the bottom of a 9 x 13 in pan.
Mix cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning in bowl with hand mixer.
Spread mixture on top of refried beans.
Top with Mexican blend cheese or cheddar cheese.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes. You will want all cheese to be melted and sides bubbling when heated through.
Remove from oven and top with olives, tomato, lettuce, and avocado.
Serve with tortilla chips or pita chips.

- 1/2 cup lettuce chopped
Instructions
