1) Mixer
Bakers love to make a loaf of bread or prepare muffins for their families’ breakfast. They enjoy sharing what they have made as an act of love to friends and family.
A must have kitchen appliance for every baker is a Kitchen Aid mixer. I’m baking and using my Kitchen Aid mixer every week. From muffins, bread dough to pancakes this mixer makes my job simpler.
The Kitchen Aid mixer would be especially helpful when mixing a batch of chocolate chip cookies. Adding the chocolate chips is the last step and the cookie dough is hard to stir by that point. With the mixer this step would be a breeze! No more sore hand and wrist from all that stirring.
2) Measuring Cups and Spoons
Every baker needs to have more than one set of measuring cups and spoons. While baking you don’t want to stop to wash a measuring spoon.
Pyrex is a must for liquid measurements. These are sturdy and accurate. You can easily pop them into the microwave to warm milk or melt chocolates.
3) Mixing Bowls
A great set of mixing bowls with multiple sizes are essential in a bakers kitchen. I love the handle and pour spout on the Vremi Plastic Mixing Bowl Set. Each bowl has a nonslip rubber ring on its base to help hold the bowl steady during mixing.
4) Rolling Pin
The classic wooden rolling pin is always a no fail. Great for rolling out pie crusts and cookie dough.
5) Cookie Sheets
Cookie sheets that are high quality and non stick will make baking a breeze. Cookies come out evenly golden brown from the oven and won’t stick to the pan. If the baker in your life is not using a cookie sheet be sure to gift one to her/him.
6) Silicone Mat
Using a silicone mat is great for keeping the mess in one place. You can roll out pie crust or cookie dough and not have it sticking to the kitchen counter.
7) Scoop
Using a scoop helps the baker measure out perfectly even muffins, cupcakes and cookies every time. No more guessing if the cookie dough ball is 1 tsp or 1 tblsp!
8) Whisk
A whisk can be a good assistant for whisking eggs, sugar icing and melted chocolate cream.
9) Wooden Spoons
10) Spatula
11) Cookbook Holder/IPad Holder
A stand is a great addition to the baker’s tools. This one can hold a cookbook, phone or tablet. Let’s save the flour for the baking and keep it off the recipe!
You are sure to find gifts for bakers you know in this list. And as an added bonus – you may get a thank you from your special baker in the form of cookies, cake or muffins!
