Spring is here! I love to see all the flowers begin to bloom, although my sinuses don’t always feel the same way! I’m excited to share with you some simple spring entryway decorating I have been doing to add a splash of color to my entryway. My entryway bookshelf is fairly new and I’m still trying to decide how to best use the shelf space. For now I have been keeping the decorations simple and clean.
The first piece I found was a small wood sign from Marshalls. I felt it would remind those who see it recognize the true reason we celebrate Easter. It has a light ivory background and the words are painted with gold.
Next I picked up this cute chicken wire vase holder at Micheal’s and chose to add some bright spring flowers. These flowers add a pop of color without bothering my nose. 🙂 Purple is one of my favorite colors so the tulips were a must! I really like the flexibility to use this piece again for other holiday decorating.
Mason Jars are a quick way to decorate. I have a few large wide-mouth mason jars just for decorating. Here I simply added some pastel colored Easter eggs I bought at Micheal’s. The pink ribbon bow adds the finishing touch!
I picked out this bright yellow bunny to up the cuteness factor. He is very bright and cheery! Yellow is such a happy color, don’t you agree?!
The final touch is this beautiful spring flower wreath. I had my eye on this wreath for a couple weeks before actually purchasing it. I debated making my own spring wreath but it turned out this store bought wreath was much more affordable (Only $10 at Marshalls) than making my own. I feel the wreath is the focal point in my spring entryway and makes it very inviting and welcoming to those who enter my home. Spring is such a happy season with the celebration of new life all around us!
